How do I extend my period of study?

Taught postgraduate students:
You should first discuss your position with your tutor/other staff in your department. You will then need to obtain a change of status form from your department, or SSiD, or from the “On-line Forms” facility on the SSiD Web page. Return the completed form to SSiD
Research students
You should discuss your position with your supervisor who can apply for an extension on your behalf. See the “Guidebook for Research Students and Supervisors”.
