The University of Sheffield's Frequently Asked Questions database

Question:

What happens if I am still not satisfied with the University's response to my complaint?

Answer:

If recourse to the University's internal procedures has not resulted in the resolution of a complaint or appeal to your satisfaction, (e.g. the internal procedures have been exhausted), you may wish to consider pursuing the complaint with the Office of the Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education. The OIA has recently been set up to provide independent adjudication on the resolution of complaints where an institution´s internal procedures have been exhausted. The Union of Students can advise on this external review process.
