How do I change my degree programme?
Answer:
You should first discuss the proposed change with a staff member from your department (e.g. a personal tutor or a supervisor). If you are planning to switch departments, you'll also need the agreement of the receiving department. You will then need to obtain a Change of Status Form from your department, SSiD, or from the "online forms" facility on the SSiD web page. Complete the form, referring to the explanatory notes which accompany it, and get it signed by the departments involved. Once the form is authorised, it will need to be sent to the Taught Programmes Office for processing. The department can either send it directly once it's signed, or you can bring it to SSiD or TPO yourself.
